Snøhetta Website: a quick review

Ok, today i’ve decided to go a bit beyond the Snøhetta exhibition I was talking about a few days ago.

So I decided to head over to http://www.snoarc.no/ to see what else I could learn from them.

So let’s give us some perspective.

“One’s of Snøhetta’s project main characteristics is the emphasis on context and landscape, leading to the harmony between architecture and its surroundings.” from Snøhetta’s exhibition brochure.

Hello world!

Hello glorious people.

Welcome to that piece of Web that I called Blog.

Here I will try to convince you that everything can be simple. Or should I say should be?

I’m new to the blogging game, but that freshness will be used to bring a new perspective on everything that’s around us, on everything that has to do (or not) with being online, wired, Wi-fi-ed, bluetooth-ed, web 3.0-ed, basically on every connected things*.

I thrive on exploring, dissecting, un-dressing what makes our “connected” live so easy, or more often than needed, more complicated.

This blog has been inspired in essence by the design of everyday things By Donald A. Norman (DOET for the fans) which perfectly encompasses the ideas I will try to develop, challenge, push and champion.

I will try to keep you interested, entertained, and say “of course” more than a few times with fancy graphics, precise writing and upbeat take on this “connected world” of ours.

By the way, My name is Eric Haidara, I’m french and love good food, good web with happy users and happy sites owners. Why don’t you check what so special about me?

Those buildings are stunning in my opinion, so I wanted to know more about the firm and their accomplishment.

What captured my attention the most was the multitouch application of the dark, digital room. The application is basically a giant array of iphones connected together and through the net. Well, iphones are the only multitouch applications I have used so far and now I’m wondering what a life size mini architect multitouch application can do for me? And moreover, how easy is it to use?
